Cumming Group is currently providing comprehensive scheduling services for this confidential technology client’s new data center projects in Des Moines, Iowa, aimed at supporting the client’s growing cloud infrastructure. The Cumming Group team was tasked with managing the complex scheduling needs for all three sites to ensure timely delivery and seamless coordination between various project stakeholders. Several challenges arose during the construction process, including a lack of Vendor FSR (Field Service Representative) support and ongoing supply chain shortages, which posed potential risks to the project timeline and budget. Cumming Group’s scheduling team played a pivotal role in mitigating these issues by proactively managing timelines and adjusting schedules as necessary. Working closely with the General Contractor, the team ensured that project milestones were met, helping to minimize delays and avoid disruptions. In addition to the work in Des Moines, Cumming Group has been a trusted partner for the client’s data center projects nationwide and remains the largest scheduling provider for the client’s U.S. data center delivery team. Cumming Group provided cost management services for the construction of Prime Data Centers’ new hyperscale data center in Vernon, California. This state-of-the-art facility, which will offer 33 megawatts of critical capacity, is an essential addition to the expanding data infrastructure in the Los Angeles area.
