Overview:
Located in the Texas Hill Country approximately 90 minutes from San Antonio, LoneHollow Ranch is a premier camp and retreat facility operated by Young Life. Designed to serve more than 500 guests, the campus provides a purpose‑built environment for retreat, recreation, and spiritual engagement. Following the property’s acquisition in 2019, Young Life engaged Overland Partners, alongside Swaback Architects + Planners and Ten Eyck Landscape Architects, to develop a comprehensive campus master plan. Cumming Gallagher provided project management services, supporting the delivery of the programmatic and infrastructural core needed for current operations and long‑term growth.
At the heart of the campus are two primary facilities: a 12,000‑square‑foot club room serving as the central gathering and performance venue, and a 20,000‑square‑foot dining hall and kitchen supporting high‑volume daily operations. Extensive site and infrastructure improvements connect these facilities to the broader campus, including four acres of central landscaping, new roadways and parking, recreational amenities including an 8,000‑square‑foot pool complex, and major utility upgrades. Sustainable systems—including wastewater treatment and reclaimed water reuse—enable efficient operations and environmental stewardship, establishing LoneHollow Ranch as a fully integrated, high‑capacity retreat environment designed to support meaningful experiences and future expansion.
